Manuela Falorni: Once Upon a Time "La Venere Bianca"
Manuela Falorni is 66 years old today
and continues to live life on her own terms. She has always been
unconventional, both in her thinking and her actions. Perhaps she was
born in the wrong country, because Italy is the nation in the West
most deeply rooted in a moralistic tradition—albeit one that is
purely “for show”—and a patriarchal one (the latter,
unfortunately, being all too real). So if you’re a woman and, among
other things, you’re involved in an “inappropriate” activity
like adult entertainment, you’re definitely an easy target for
those “superficial” moralists. Who, incidentally, are the very
same people who masturbate like there’s no tomorrow while watching
your videos!
At the time she was taking her first steps in the
porn industry, Manuela had just separated from boxer Nino La Rocca,
who was very popular in Italy in the 1980s. To everyone, she was Nino
La Rocca’s ex-wife who was now a pornstar.
Manuela, who goes by the stage name “La Venere Bianca,” is much more than that. She made her debut in 1993 in a film by the Italian production company FM Video, which focused entirely on her. This is partly because, although this film titled ‘Fatali Orgasmini della Venere Bianca’ marked her debut in professional porn, she was already a star of the Italian nightlife scene. Launched by the show ‘Top Club,’ which aired on a private network, she captivated viewers with her stripteases and breathtaking erotic performances, which eventually led her to perform at the renowned 'Eros Fest.' 'Top Club' has a very elegant and refined erotic brand, and one of Manuela’s strengths is the ‘TG Sex’ segment, in which she appeared as the host, completely naked, reading a real ‘erotic news report from around the world’ with the poise and professionalism of a true journalist. La Venere Bianca captivates the screen, and the transition to porn feels natural—especially in a film like the one mentioned, where Manuela has sex with unknown actors chosen from among her fans, whom she calls “I miei orgasmini.”
The film that catapulted her to international fame
was the visionary 2000 release “Doom Fighters”, a true blockbuster
featuring some of the era’s top European stars. The production
boasts a video-game aesthetic, and the sex scenes are of the highest
caliber. Manuela showcases not only her skill as a performer but also
her acting ability in a role modeled after Lara Croft. The film is
divided into two parts, both of which are must-sees.
Manuela’s
career continued for another eight years; among her best
performances, I’d like to highlight ‘Salieri Erotic Stories 2,’
in which she took on her first on-screen anal scene with actor
Lorenzo Micoli.
La Venere Bianca wasn’t what I like to call a
“complete and total performer,” given her limited experience with
anal sex (only two scenes), but she possessed such a commanding stage
presence, charisma, and erotic energy that she was irresistible. She
wasn’t the best Italian performer, but she was probably the best
actress.
Her last appearance on set dates back to 2008, in the
two installments of ‘Amore e psiche’ by FM Video, the production
company she worked with almost exclusively, apart from a brief stint
in two films with Mario Salieri.
Today she is a 66-year-old woman, but
she remains very active in her life. She left the porn industry long
ago, and after turning 50, she pursued her passion for bodybuilding
professionally, participating in numerous competitions and even
opening a women-only gym. She has also written two books, both
autobiographical, that recount her life lived “with stubborn
determination and against the grain.”
In this post, we revisit
her in “Manuela: Il mistero della perversione” released by FM
Video in 2000 when La Venere Bianca was at the peak of her career.
