Fallen of the Radar: Morgan Dayne
Many years have passed, and having
admired countless performers throughout my life has made me wiser. I
might bet on sports outcomes, but I wouldn’t wager a single penny
on a porn star’s career—even if I find her irresistible and
talented. The sometimes overwhelming erotic charge—indeed,
often—isn’t enough for lasting success, and in the adult
industry, the spotlight of fame all too often has the fleeting life
of a butterfly.
Over 15 years ago, for example, if there was one
performer who drove me wild, it was Morgan Dayne. Many of you
probably remember her better by the name Rio Valentine and admired
her in a couple of Digital Playground productions. For example,
‘Teenlicious,’ with a cast that takes your breath away just
thinking about it: there were Riley Steele, Shawna Lenee, Zeina Hart,
and Gabriella Fox—the latter, too, was a shooting star.
Morgan
had an exclusive contract with Digital Playground in 2010 when
‘Teenlicious’ was released, and a few months later, she vanished
without a trace. In reality, there’s nothing tragic or mysterious
about it; from the few, scattered reports we have—as is the case
with all performers who leave the set—Morgan apparently got married
and is now simply a wife and a mom. A life choice? Who knows?
I first saw her in 'Deviant', a 2008
film—basically a one-woman show by Pulse, since Morgan Dayne is the cover
star and appears in four of the six scenes. She really blew my mind,
and I got my hands on all her scenes; at the time, she was 19 and had
just made her debut in the industry. In total, she appeared in about
15 scenes from 2008 to 2010, excluding compilations.
In this post,
we see her in one of her scenes from ‘Deviant’. Tell me if she
isn't fantastic!
