Porn Memories: "Clockwork Orgy"

The reinterpretations in porn key of the mainstream success movies are now on the agenda. Is often used the term "parody" and in most cases it fits perfectly. When was released in 1995 this authentic piece of skill of the director Nic Cramer, a french production, was almost called into question the crime of "treason" because the red lights cinema was allowed to disturb none other than Stanley Kubrick in his "cult" most famous. "Clockwork Orgy" in fact it is loosely based on "Clockworg Orange" but this is not a parody. On the contrary, we can define an “originale remake”. If the plot is the same, in fact, history has food for thought quite different and rather deep if it is looked at with a critical eye, going beyond the wonderful performances of the artists protagonist. The lead actress is the beautiful Kaitlyn Ashley that thanks to this memorable performance in 1996 won the award for Female Performer of the Year to the AVN Awards. As the actors of the original film, here too Kaitlyn (who plays the role of Alexandra) and her friends (Rebecca Lord, Isis Nile and Olivia) are seen every evening at a bar and make full of "Molotov Milk" before going out at night to give vent to their most perverse sexual fantasies. The theme of the film is not the pure violence, without any justification, but it's pure sex in complete freedom, without inhibition and restraint. Emblematic the first scene, that of a homeless man was "raped" by Rebecca Lord in front of Kaitlyn and her friends. We believe that the victim was more than willing. At the end the perversions of this all-female gang are much less tragic than those of Kubrick's films but despite this Kaitlyn is arrested and interned in a prison, on charges of sexual offenses, where a fanatical and perverted director tries to "re-educate" her. 

Detoxified from her "nymphomania" when released from prison, she will have to undergo the violence by the same clochard of the opening scene along with two other men (one scene where Kaitlyn Ashley is absolutely divine). To escape to another victim of her past, however, Alexandra will be forced to jump from a window and end up in hospital. Here she will receive the visit of the whimsical director of the prison that admits to her the failure of his fundamentalist care, in which he tried to heal people by the mania of sex. Everything will be celebrated in a fantastic final orgy that close the movie, starring Kaitlyn and her friends. Among the prominent female figures of this film is also a fantastic Nicole Lace, in the role of assistant director of the prison. More than a parody of "Clockwork Orange", we consider this film a remake view with female eyes that seek to reclaim the right to live sex in freedom, uncensored and without preconceptions. While in Kubrick's film the violence is mistakenly views as the only key to unlock the system and society, a solution that proves to be unsuccessful because in the end it will be the system to use the violence of the protagonist for his own purposes, in this case sex is considered the only way to break the barriers of mediocrity of existence and to offer an alternative way of living. "Clockwork Orgy" is a film that makes enjoying the viewer but it also leads to a reflection. In its genre is a real cult.
