Maitland Ward in the new season of Investigation Discovery’s “Hollywood Demons”
Maitland Ward’s artistic and professional journey is fascinating. For most people, the transition from star of a well-known soap opera—the queen of all soap operas—to an award-winning adult entertainment performer might seem like a risky move. It is certainly not common: we’re talking about the legendary soap opera *The Bold and the Beautiful*, which has been airing continuously since 1987. Maitland Ward was still a student when she was cast as Jessica Forrester, and in 1995 she was also honored with a Young Artist Award. Twenty-four years later, in 2019, Maitland made her debut in the adult industry with Deeper in ‘Acceptance,’ featuring a ‘NonSex’ performance, and that same year she worked for manyvids in a lesbian scene with Suttin, followed by her first sex scene with a man in ‘Black and Red’ by Pulse alongside Jason Luv.
Of course, a lot happened in the meantime; her television career continued through 2007 with various roles in soap operas and TV series (including another famous soap opera, *The Young and the Restless*). Maitland later gave up acting and embarked on a career as a cosplayer, successfully participating in numerous conventions in the industry. During this period, in 2013, with the massive expansion of social media, she began posting very sexy photos and, later, full-frontal nude photos. She was noticed by Kayden Kross, who offered her a chance to enter the adult industry.
Since then, Maitland has
starred in nearly a hundred scenes, winning something like 9 AVN
Awards and 10 Xbiz Awards; in short, she has become a true diva in
the industry, particularly in the MILF genre, which is currently a
major draw.
Her decision was a conscious choice and by no means a
drastic one, contrary to what has been reported by the American
press.
But Maitland Ward herself will tell her story in the new
season of Investigation Discovery’s “Hollywood Demons,” airing
Monday, April 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ID and streaming on HBO Max,
with five new episodes that explore the darker sides of fame.
“I’m grateful to be part of a series that’s willing to look beyond the surface,” Ward said. “My life and career have been shaped by choices I made for myself, and I’ve never been afraid to stand by them. If my story can add something thoughtful to the conversation about growing up in public and finding your own way, I’m honored to add my voice to it.”
While we wait to hear Maitland Ward tell her own story, here she is in this stunning scene taken from “Mistress Maitland vol 1” (2020) by Deeper.
