Porn Memories: The Nun of Monza

When the pursuit of pleasure through sex has become taboo? In western culture, this idea is closely related to “sin”, the sin of lust in the traditional Christian religious beliefs. We are not here to start a debate on the contentious relationship between sex and religion, we are simply saying that according to a vision clerical bigot, sex is a sin if not is used exclusively as an act of procreation. Obvious consequence, if we associate a transgressive industry like porn with religious topics, we fall into blasphemy. In the past in our "Porn Memories" we presented “The Confessional”,  a film released in 1998 by the production company of Mario Salieri, which was shot into a real church without the knowledge of the priest and the faithful, in a small italian village. Let's talk about sex and religion with another italian film, released two years after “The Confessional”. It is "The Nun of Monza" and takes very loosely inspiration at least in the main character that has the same name as the original, to Gertrude, a character in the classic of italian literature "The Betrothed" by Alessandro Manzoni, a nun who had sin of lust. The film, released by the production company of Jessica Rizzo (pictured), who is also the lead actress in the role of Gertrude, is set in the modern times. The film is about an investigation conducted by a priest, on the request of an old colleague, pointing to a convent of Monza where, according to an anonymous letter, sex encounters take place between the faithful and the sisters. The Mother Superior who runs the convent is the cousin of the priest that conducts the survey. The priest-detective will find everything, sex in the church and orgies with also the participation of transsexuals. At the end he collects enough evidence to remove the cousin of the convent where, however, nothing will change. He will be smart to take advantage of the sexual favors of the other sisters. In the cast of "The Nun of Monza", a film distributed successfully also in Germany, there are some of the best italian performers of the period between the late 90s and early twenty-first century. Jessica Rizzo was very popular and created a little empire with her production company together with her husband Marco Toto. Among the artists also an unleashed Pamela Miti, an excellent performer that in Italy would become the queen of porn-trash with some of her interpretations literally crazies; the czech artist Eva Angel that starred in a dozen films between 1998 and 2001 and Serena Marini, a real meteor that starred in few movies in 2000. There are also two transsexual performers, many active during that period, the brazilian Carolina Storaro and the colombian Erika Dark, stars of a group scene with Serena Marini and the italian actor Andrea Nobili. It is literally spectacular also the scene that sees protagonists together Jessica Rizzo and Pamela Miti, a bravura piece of anal sex and double penetration.
