Jenna Jameson, undisputed queen without the most prestigious scepter

Thirteen AVN Awards in ten years is a good booty and a real example of artistic longevity. Yet the Queen has never conquered the scepter most prestigious. Strange but true, Jenna Jameson that many consider the best pornstar of all time has never been "Female Performers of the Year" at the AVN Awards. The first edition of the prize was in 1984 but the title that is now the most coveted by american or canadian artists was established in 1993 (the first Female Performer of the Year was Ashlyn Gere, for further details, see our page “AVN Awards - Historical Winners” in the list of pages to the right of our home page) and only in 2003 was made the distinction between american and non-american artists with the establishment of the prize reserved for "Female Foreign Performer of the Year". Before 2003 Nikita Denise ascended to the throne of best performers, the czech artist won in 2002. Lauren Phoenix is instead the only Female Performer of the Year from Canada (she won in 2005). Jenna Jameson began her career in 1993 and three years later she won her first three AVN Awards. In 1996, in fact, she was "Best Actress", "Best New Starlets" and also won for the "Best Couple Sex Scene". Another two AVN Awards come in 1997 (Best Couple Sex Scene for movies and for single videos), the sixth in 1998 for the Best All-Girls Sex Scenes with Missy, a prize that Jenna replies in 2003 with Nikita Denise and Autumn. The diva from Las Vegas becomes the "Best Actress" at the AVN Awards in 2005 and the same year she won two awards for Best Couple Sex Scene and Best All-Girls Sex Scene with Savanna Samson. The last AVN Awards of her career come in 2006 for Best Supporting Actress and Best All-Girls Sex Scene and the same year she also won the award "Hall of Fame".
