“The Abella Show,” the new podcast hosted by the bubbly Abella Danger
The surprisingly intimate theater, with a sunken stage surrounded on all four sides by plush red chairs, is dominated by a backlit neon sign bearing the “The Abella Show” logo. On a round red carpet, two gold-and-black Art Deco chairs face a gold-and-black Art Deco glass table, with an identical table to the right of the stage holding pink roses in a vase. A small band sets up on a raised platform in the back corner of the room, with a guitarist, saxophonist, double bassist, and drummer in view. Three cameras on tripods are positioned outside the perimeter of the red carpet—two for close-ups and one for the main shot. The band is warming up, playing riffs from jazz classics—*Night Train*, *Take Five*, *Manhã de Carnaval*—while working on the songs with a producer.
Abella Danger enters to a long ovation, encouraged by an assistant waving signs that read “APPLAUSE,” wearing a shiny white top with the Abella Show logo on her right breast and a matching miniskirt, asking, “Does it feel good to be in danger?” She recounted her disappointment over a college football game that was broadcast on ESPN, “and there are millions of men watching this game, shouting, ‘I know that girl,’ and having to lie to their girlfriends and wives when they ask, ‘Where from?’ My team lost, and I went home, miserable, only to wake up and receive a screenshot of that miserable moment from every single person on my contact list.” Then she asked rhetorically, “How many times can the same butt win the same award?”—doing a theatrical pirouette to show off the butt in question and the large Abella Show logo on the back of her skirt. He acknowledged Mark Spiegler, his agent, who thanked him for “taking the time to dress so formally,” director Ricky Greenwood (“You’re everything the outside world considers a porn director. You’re big, hairy, you have tattoos—but you’re just a kind, gentle Canadian guy.”) and actor/director Ricky Johnson: “He’s such a big guy—giant, I mean huge… Idiot! He tried to take my award, and I’m not happy about it.”
The first guest was Scott Nails, with a bandaged nose, and when Abella asked about it, he said, “You know exactly why it’s there.... Just to set the record straight, we were shooting a movie, she was playing herself, and she punched me in the face.” When Abella asked if acting was a passion of his, he replied, “No. I just do it.” Abella drew him into a discussion of her favorite comedy movies, and when he said, “I like to read,” she replied, “That’s shocking.” Nails said his favorite movie of his career was *Gold Diggers*, winner of the 2025 AVN Grand Reel Award: “Horses, guns, prostitutes… Action.”
After a break, Abella Danger welcomed his second guest, Abigail Morris, who admitted, “I’m nervous, as usual, but it’s fun.” After Abella recounted the year Abigail won the Brazzers House contest, landed an exclusive Brazzers contract, and hosted the AVN Awards in January, Morris said, “It really hit me after hosting the AVNs… Going from being socially awkward and homeschooled to hosting the adult industry’s biggest awards ceremony is just mind-blowing.” Speaking about hosting the show, Abigail Morris said, “I kept repeating to myself, ‘Don’t pass out.’ … It’s been a completely crazy experience—working hard to develop as a performer and become the person I am now, compared to that 13-year-old homeschooled kid who couldn’t even say ‘Hi’ without trembling.”
Abigail Morris said that at one point she wanted to become an orthopedic surgeon, when she was dealing with a knee injury and started watching videos and thinking, “This is so cool. I wanted to touch and manipulate the ligaments. Just like the rest of us. But my creativity led me to cosplay, and cosplay led me to walk around naked in New York, and ultimately led me to my career and where I am today.” Speaking of cosplay, Abigail said she likes to take her favorite characters “and turn them into sluts” and teased a major Brazzers Creator project: “It’s a secret for now. It’s incredibly nerdy, weird—definitely damn weird… I can’t wait to share more about it.”
When Abella Danger asked if there’s anything Abigail won’t try, she replied, “I won’t watch a horror movie and then sleep with my toes sticking out from under the blanket.”
The show wrapped up with a stand-up set by comedian Annie Lederman, who engaged the audience by asking if there were any “squirters” in the crowd, and then noting that “at other shows, people are like, ‘Not me.’” — which led the audience to weigh in on what squirting is and who has a bush and who doesn’t, before Abella Danger returned to the stage to thank the guests and wrap things up.
