“The Doctrine,” a visionary masterpiece by Seth Gamble featuring the great comeback of Remy LaCroix

 

 With “The Doctrine,” Seth Gamble’s visionary talent seems to have reached its peak. The vision of a post-apocalyptic world, where every trace of civilization seems to have vanished, is certainly not a new setting for an adult film, but this PureTaboo production—directed by Seth and released on August 25—proves to be extraordinarily introspective and focused on every single character. And of course, the film features plenty of steamy sex scenes with a truly incredible cast, among whom the return to mainstream productions of a legendary performer like Remy LaCroix certainly stands out. And since I’ve never hidden my immense and endless love for Remy on this blog, the release of “The Doctrine” had me canceling many plans so I could enjoy watching it as soon as it came out. 

Beyond a fabulous Remy—who alone is always worth the price of admission—the female cast is divine: Octavia Red, Lexi Luna, Lilly Bell, Rissa May, and Ava Amira. We think that’s enough to make your mouth water.  

Set three years after the collapse of civilization, “The Doctrine” is the story of four brothers who run the last safe haven for miles around—a fortified sanctuary stocked with food, medicine, and energy. Bound by a doctrine passed down from their father, the brothers believe that humanity’s future depends on rebuilding society according to their own principles. When a group of women arrives seeking refuge, they are offered safety, stability, and hope—but only if they accept the roles the brothers believe they are destined to play. As loyalties are tested and convictions begin to crumble, every survivor is forced to answer a haunting question: “What would you do to survive?” 

The male cast includes Small Hands, Nade Nasty, Logan Xander, Codey Steele, Tommy Gunn, and Jason Sarcinelli. I highly recommend watching this film.
